The Refectory and ROOH are joining forces for two evenings featuring five-course tasting experiences bringing classic French technique and progressive Indian cuisine to the same table.

The collaboration is part of The Refectory’s yearlong 50th anniversary celebration and marks the first time these restaurants have created a dining experience of this kind. The chefs will stage two distinct evenings, each shaped by its host restaurant, its kitchen and creative teams.

Tuesday, October 6: The Refectory. ROOH chef/owner Yash Kishinchand will join Executive Chef Richard Blondin.

Tuesday, October 13: ROOH. Executive Chef Richard Blondin with join Kishinchand for the second chapter of the collaboration.

Five course tasting menu, with restaurants alternating courses and interpretations. $175 per guest. Refectory sommelier Clayton Young will curate two optional wine pairings: Classic Pairing-$65 per guest. Premier Cru Pairing: $125 per guest.

Welcome to the first of many events to celebrate Barcelona’s 30^th Anniversary.  Join us for a wine dinner featuring Bodegas Marques de Caceres.   Marques de Caceres is one of the most renowned producers in Roja and their wines are enjoyed around the world.   Luis Burgueño, of Marques de Caceres will join us for the dinner and guide us through the wines.  This will be an evening filled with history, fun stories of the winery, great food and of course, incredible wines.

Paying homage to our past is part of the celebration of Barcelona.  Do you remember the soba noodle salad?  Or the apple butternut crisp?   We are hosting a 5 course dinner centered around some of the most popular items on previous Barcelona menus.   Chef Ruben has gone through past menus, the previously published Barcelona cookbook and has had conversations with guests.  He has come up with a menu that is sure to stir wonderful memories of the years gone by at Barcelona.   We wish we could include all the menu items we came up with, but we can only eat so much at one seating.   Maybe some of the other items will show up as specials?  Scott did pick the final menu items and thinks that you will be sure to enjoy

For our anniversary, we selected two Spanish wines to feature throughout the celebration.  Join us for a Spanish wine dinner featuring Fraga do Corvo Godello and Buil & Gine Priorat, plus 4 other wines presented by Think Global Wines.  Think Global has years of experience exploring the diverse wine regions of Spain and has developed close relationships with some of the country’s most exceptional winemakers.

This multi course dinner will tantalize your tastebuds, while giving insight to Ruben’s creative mind.   some of you and us have seen his creativity through his specials and amuse-bouches.  Now you get a whole dinner surrounding this creativity.
